Our History & Mission
Founded in 1952, Grace & Truth Tabernacle has been a beacon of hope in the Springfield community for over 70 years. We are a church rooted in the timeless truths of Scripture, yet relevant to the challenges of modern life.
We believe in the transformative power of the Gospel and the importance of community. Our mission is to love God, love people, and serve the world. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or have been a believer for decades, you have a place here.

What to Expect
We know visiting a new church can be intimidating. Here's what you can look forward to.
The Service
Our services last about 75 minutes. We sing traditional hymns and modern songs, followed by a biblical message.
The Atmosphere
We are a friendly, multi-generational family. You'll see people in suits and people in jeans. Come as you are.
For Your Kids
We have a safe, staffed nursery for infants and Children's Church for ages 4-10 during the sermon.

Is there parking?
Yes! We have a large parking lot directly behind the church building, with reserved spots for visitors and seniors.
Is the building handicap accessible?
Absolutely. We have a ramp at the main entrance and an elevator to access the fellowship hall.
What Bible translation do you use?
Our pastor typically preaches from the ESV (English Standard Version), but we welcome all translations.
